Engine Performance and Towing Capabilities of the Ram 3500.
4X4, Uconnect, Rear Cam, Voice Command, 5th Wheel/Gooseneck, Bluetooth, and Brake Assist are standard equipment on this new 2022 Ram 3500 Tradesman. However, the baseline trim of the 2022 Ram 3500 comes with a 6.4-liter V-8 gasoline engine linked to an eight-speed automated transmission line. Also, this engine produces 410 hp of horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque at 5,600 RPM, which is in line with the rear wheels or all four axles, based on the options you select.

A 6.7-liter turbocharged inline-6 standard diesel engine and a 6.7-liter turbocharged inline-6 high-output diesel engine are also available for the 2022 Ram 3500. The first has 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque, while the second has 420 horsepower and 1,075 lb-ft of torque.
